Trip Grade : three star

This six-day return trek is a feast to the eyes of the wide variety of Bhutan’s stunning landscapes. The trip starts at the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong (fortress) and passes through scattered hamlets and farmland, a deep and richly forested valley, high alpine pastureland en route to the final camp – the east face of Mt. Chomolhari. You will also encounter rare species like the blue sheep & snow leopard.

05 Drive to Drugyel Dzong where the trek begins Camp
06 Shana to Soi Thangthangkha Camp
07 Soi to Jangothang Camp
08 Halt at jangothang. Explore the surrounding areas like Tshophu lake, visit Yakherders or simply relax. "
09 Jangothang to Lingshi "
10 Lingshi to Shodu via Yale la Pass (4950 m) Camp
11 Shodu to Barshong "
12 Barshong to Dodina and Drive to Thimpu 1 and half hrs Hotel
13 Drive to paro 2 hrs Hotel
14 Fly to Kathmandu "
15 Kathmandu Hotel
16 Transfer to airport and final departure
