The Upper reaches of the Kali Ganadaki River valley are geographically and climatically part of the Tibetan plateau; and though within Nepal, the Mustang Region and its people (Lo-pa) are culturally and physically like Tibetans. For centuries access to the Mustang Region was closed to foreigners and the privilege to visit should be an honored one.

The area with its harsh dry climate and rugged terrain make this trek an adventurous and physically demanding one. But those who venture forth reap the rewards of artifacts and encounters of one of the last remaining Himalayan Kingdoms. The landscape is unearthly with strangely twisted landforms and vibrant natural colors. With picturesque walled cities and cave dwellings this trek will be one of lifetime.

Novice as well as well experienced climbers find a wide range of challenging ascent among the Nepal's various trekking peak Such as Imja Tse ( Island Peak 6,160 m) and Mera Peak (6,645m) in Khumbu (Everest (region) are popular as well as Chulu West (6,419m) Chulu East (6,548m) Pisang Peak (6480m) and Tent Peak (5,663m) in the Annapurna Range. Phachermo Peak (6187m) in Rollwaling , Ganjala Chuli (5,844m) can be combined with a trek in the upper Langtang Valley.
